process: is esp. appropriate when progress from definite beginning to a definite end is implies and the sequence of events can be divided into a sequence of steps or stages: the ~ of digestion.


procedure: stress method followed or routine to be followed: achieved success despite disdain for normal ~.


proceeding: applies not only to sequence of events, actions, operations but also to any one of these and stresses items involved rather than their relation or end in view: had little patience with bureaucratic proceedings.


process过程：有明确的开始/结束, 可以分割为一系列步骤、阶段，procedure流程：强调方法性程序性(routine:常规例行程序)，proceeding强调一个个步骤(指一个都不缺少)，并不强调前后关系或目的。


记忆方法: 1) 首字母联想记忆：PPP联想那些“需要三步的过程”: 三思后行，三缄其口等。


         2) 过程的意思是为实现某目的采取的一系列行动mean the series of such things as actions, operations, or motions involved in the accomplishing of an end。
